Training and Resources

Talks are given to groups of nurses under training by members of the Aylesbury and District Group about living with diabetes. The feedback that we get suggests that these are important to the nurses in training as it gives them a chance to ask questions that might otherwise not be answered for them. It gives them some small insight as to how people with both type 1 and type 2 organise and cope with this in their daily lives. These training courses are now run by Luton University for the NHS. . If anyone is willing to help with these, please contact a member of the committee who will pass your name to the appropriate person.

The group owns a couple of marquees and a couple of easy to erect gazebos. These are available for hire at very reasonable rates. Please ring Chris Arnold (01296 613164) for more details.
